What does package insurance cover?

Package insurance covers loss or damage of your package during international shipment.

Package insurance does not cover damage to used or second-hand merchandise, indirect loss or damage, loss or damage caused by delays, or loss or damage of items sent by the seller to your member address before receipt. Be sure to see our Terms of Use for additional details.

What does this cost ?

You will be presented with the option to add insurance during the normal shipping process in which you pay for your shipment.

  1. If the declared value of your package is less than 100 $US, then insurance is included for free.

  2. Between 101 $US and 1,000 $US, insurance is optional, and will cost you 2.5% of the declared value.

  3. Above 1,000 $US, and insurance is required and will cost you 2.5% of the declared value.

We can only offer insurance for package values up to a maximum of 5,000 US$ per shipment.
