What are the basic costs when using MyMalls?

Your MyMalls basic costs are composed of three components:

  • Carrier shipping costs - We partner with DHL and FedEx to deliver your packages, safe and sound, (learn more about delivery times). Shipping charges are calculated based on the "volumetric size" of your package - a sophisticated calculation that takes the following into account:

    • The length,

    • The width,

    • The height,

    • The weight and,

    • The destination for delivery.

  • The MyMalls handling fee — This fee is 10 US$ per shipment, and you can benefit from major savings—over 60 US$ !—by consolidating up to three packages in a single shipment.

  • Local duties

    • From US Warehouse

      • DHL - Your packages are delivered “DDU” (Delivered Duty Unpaid), meaning it’s your responsibility to pay any local country duties upon delivery. These costs vary by country, so it's best to contact your local Customs office for specific details. The carrier will charge you for these duties and taxes before or upon delivery. Please contact our customer service team whenever you want your package to be processed as DDP.
Special note for Panama, Chile, Colombia and Canada — To these countries, your packages are delivered "DDP" (Duty Delivery Paid). With DDP, unless you're located in an area certified by DHL as “remote” or “dangerous”, you simply open the door when the delivery person arrives, and receive your package — nothing additional to pay!

Additional Costs

Depending on your particular circumstances, you may also incur some of the following additional fees.

  • Oversize — A fixed surcharge is applied to any package that exceeds the weight of 70 kg / 154 lbs or with a single dimension in excess of 120 cm / 47 in. These costs vary per country.

  • Insurance — If the declared value of your package is less than 100 US$, then insurance is included for free. Above that, insurance is optional. See this article for more information about insurance.

  • Disbursement Fee A fee charge by the carrier to release the package.
Special note for Curacao – The disbursement fee is waived only with DHL.

  • 3rd-party duties — In some countries, carriers work with local 3rd-party agents for that “final mile” delivery, and these parties may also charge a fee upon delivery. For information on possible local duties and third-party fees, contact your local carrier office and see our support articles on specific countries, or feel free to contact our customer support.
