Mandatory Customs Automated Processing System (CAPS) ID

Effective September 30, 2020, Bermuda Customs requires an Importer’s Trader ID, also known as a Customs Automated Processing System (CAPS) ID, for all imports into Bermuda.

  • Request your six-digit CAPS ID from the Bermuda Customs Department.

  • Provide this number to DHL, FedEx, or UPS when submitting shipment details.
