At MyMalls, you can add package insurance to protect your shipments against loss or damage during international transit. Insurance applies from the moment your package leaves our U.S. warehouse until it’s delivered to you.
What’s Covered
Insurance covers:
Loss or physical damage during shipment
Declared values up to US $5,000 per shipment
Insurance does not cover:
Used or second-hand items
Delays or indirect loss
Items damaged or lost before arriving at your MyMalls Suite

How It Works
During checkout, you’ll see the option to add insurance.
Insurance rates and conditions are the same for DHL Express, FedEx, UPS Worldwide Saver and MyMalls Economy:

$100 – $1,000 | Optional at 2.5% of declared value |
$1,000 – $5,000 | Required at 2.5% of declared value |
Above $5,000 | Not insurable through MyMalls |
💡 Example: A shipment valued at US $400 adds US $10 insurance coverage (2.5%).
Filing a Claim
If your insured shipment is lost or arrives damaged, please follow these steps:

How to Initiate a Claim
Contact MyMalls Support with your shipment ID.
Include clear photos of:
Damaged items
Packaging material (inside and outside)
The outer box showing visible damage
Do not discard or alter packaging or items until instructed by MyMalls.
Our team will review and coordinate the claim with the courier.
