What is an Air Waybill number?

To travel from one island to another, from one country to another, it is essential to have a passport because no passport means no way through. Like people, all shipments crossing borders must also carry a unique identification tag.

The waybill is the shipment's version of a passport. It contains all the information the competent authorities need to know about its origin, contents, destination and the route it will take.

The waybill is usually attached to the outside of the package. Couriers, customs officials and even machines refer to it to easily identify and track the package.

Where can I find my Air Waybill number?

Once you have paid for your package, the Air Waybill number will appear on the package information page. Clicking on your package will take you to a page containing information on your package and the latest tracking details. Underneath the tracking details, you will find your Air Waybill number as well as a link to track the package directly on the DHL website.

How does DHL On Demand Delivery work ?

In some countries, DHL Express works with a service they developed, called On Demand Delivery (ODD). ODD offers you various handy and flexible delivery options. In other words, you can choose when and where DHL Express delivers your MyMalls package(s). DHL Express thereby ensures that the delivery is as smooth as the online purchase.

Once your package is processed at customs and ready for delivery, you will receive a text from DHL Express with a link to manage your delivery or you can visit the DHL On Demand Delivery Page. You will need your Air Waybill number, which you can find at your shipment in your suite. In case your import duties are not mentioned, contact your local DHL office.
